Druzy Quartz
Druzy are multiple sets of crystals formed in another stone. This can happen after many thousands - or even millions - of years as water continuously flows over a stone. As it evaporates and cools, it leaves behind sediment and silica. Druzy can appear as almost any color of the rainbow. These tiny crystalline structures are clustered on top of the gemstone — or inside a stone or ground Agate cavity. In many cases, the crystals are too small to be seen with the naked eye. But when joined together, each refracts and redirects natural light, to create a glossy surface that could put a disco ball to shame. They are often found in the hollow cavity of Agate geodes.
